Ooooo now this was amazing!! I saw you being recommended by Veronika AKA House von Veil and knew I had to check this one out!! I remembered reading something of yours before and had a feeling it would be really good. I love the nautical gothicism of this story!! The ending was surreal, beautiful, and haunting as well🖤

Your words carry salt and shadow in the same breath, like sea spray caught in a storm and somehow distilled into ink on the page. I felt the lighthouse’s loneliness pressing against my ribs, the thump thump of a heart that knows both devotion and dread. This is the kind of haunting that doesn’t leave when you close the tab, it follows you down to the bones and makes you listen for waves in your own quiet. Bravo.

Wow, Elizabeth. So immersive and haunting. Just a moment in their life, but it packs a huge punch. I love the presence of the untold story.

Thank you so much! I was really hoping the untold story, as you so aptly put it, did enough work to ground the present moment!

It did for me!

It’s true there’s a lot of backstory that’s left ambiguous, maybe I’ll go back and write the “beginning” sometime 😅 Thank you for reading!
